During 2016, the members of the Clarence Center Vol. Fire Co. would like to remind our residents of the 100% volunteer service we provide. We are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are ready for any emergencies regardless of the time of day or weather conditions. This volunteer service saves residents thousands of dollars in salaries compared to a paid department. It has been our honor and pleasure to provide this service to the Town of Clarence for over 100 years.
We hope this annual appeal letter finds you in good health and wish to thank you for your generous support in past years. Your valued donations help us to pay for additional training and equipment allowing us to do our jobs safely and more efficiently. We constantly strive to keep our budgets lean during these challenging economic times and greatly appreciate your support.
This year we are planning to contribute to a town-wide project to install new fire hydrant markers on each hydrant throughout the community. This ambitious project will enhance safety by improving visibility of the hydrants during our Buffalo winters. A portion of your contributions will directly benefit this valuable public safety program.
As you consider responding to our annual fund drive appeal, please remember three things:
- Your donation is tax-deductible
- All donations remain in our local community
- You help us to provide a valuable service that can protect you or your loved ones
Our sincere thanks for your past support. We hope the New Year brings good health and happiness to all. Remember, life happens fast, but accidents happen faster!
As always, we thank you for your support of our annual Labor Day Fair.
The Officers and Members of the Clarence Center Vol. Fire Company
