Welcome to the Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company's website. We hope that you find our site to be interesting and useful. We at the Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company hope that this site can be used as another tool in our service to our community.

The Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company is a volunteer fire protection corporation that is contracted by the Town of Clarence, which is a suburb of Buffalo, New York, to provide: Fire, Rescue, and EMS services to the citizens that reside within our district boundaries. Our district is comprised of mainly residential areas with several areas of commercial and light industrial developments. One of the challenges that are facing our Fire Company is maintaining a consistent level of protection to a rapidly growing population within our district. As our call totals increase so does the demand on our firefighters. In response to the increasingly more complicated nature of our emergency calls the Fire Company has increased our ability to handle these different types of emergencies. The Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company has one of the only Water Rescue Hovercrafts in Western New York. This Hovercraft can quickly respond to anywhere it is needed and is therefore a benefit to the entire region. We can also respond to Emergencies in remote locations of our district in the winter months through the use of our Snowmobile which tows a Rescue Trailer. In the warmer months the Fire Company can respond anywhere on the many bike trails in the district by employing our two EMS Mountain Bikes. Along with this specialized equipment we are very proud of the more traditional Fire/EMS apparatus that we utilize. All of these apparatus can be viewed on our website.

But equipment alone doesn't make for an effective Fire Company, our members maintain high levels of proficiency in many different skills. This is done through many hours of training that all of our members take part in.

Finally, the Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank all of the citizens that we are all very proud to be able to serve, for the continuing support that is shown to the Fire Company.
